Valle del Mis (Mis Valley)


The Val del Mis valley forms a deep canyon between smooth, steep rock walls. The formation of the ancient Mis glacier during the last ice age is visible in its L-shaped cross-section. The lake and Mis valley are part of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
The mountains, exceeding 2,000 meters in elevation, are majestic, fascinating, and mysterious. The Mis valley and canal are entirely traversed by the provincial road that runs from Sospirolo to Forcella Franche in the Agordino region. Halfway along the lake is Pian della Falcina, a clearing with large parking lots, very popular in summer.

Bus del Buson (Buson’s Bus)


Relentless, and unyielding force of water carved the gorge that still channels the waters flowing down from the southern slope of the great Schiara, the mountain that dominates Belluno. Admire the immense beauty that nature gifts.
The canyon extends for about 250 meters with a sinuous course; its smooth walls, deeply carved in the flint limestone of the Biancone, testify to the ancient working of the waters. In some places the width is just a few meters, while in the central part the rocky walls move away leaving large spaces.
Civic Museum of Belluno


The Belluno Civic Museum houses a collection of bronzes, medals, plaques, coins, seals, manuscripts, and books of local importance, belonging to Count Florio Miari. The current layout includes the ground floor, which houses an archaeological section documenting the long history of Valbelluna from the Middle Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The lapidarium documents the history of Belluno in Roman times.
Cathedral Basilica of St. Martin

Located in the Piazza Duomo in Belluno, the Cathedral of St. Martin was built in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. The bell tower was added in 1732 and 1747 in the Baroque style. The façade opens with three bronze portals made in the 1980s. The church was severely damaged by earthquakes in 1837 and 1936 and subsequently restored each time. The church is the cathedral of the Diocese of Belluno-Feltre.
Church Of Santo Stefano

The Church of Santo Stefano is a Catholic church in the Italian Gothic style. Interior paintings depict a biblical figure and two wooden angels by sculptor Andrea Brustolona. Located in the center of Belluno, it is open to visitors for architectural viewing during the week. During excavations in the bell tower, the Roman sarcophagus of Gaius Flavius Hostilius and his wife Domitia was discovered, and is now located in the courtyard of the Palazzo Crepadona in Belluno.
