Parco naturale regionale del Bosco e Paludi di Rauccio

The Bosco e Paludi di Rauccio Regional Natural Park stretches across 1,600 hectares along the Adriatic coast north of Lecce. Bosco di Rauccio covers approximately 18 hectares.
The park includes a complex of agricultural buildings dating back to the mid-16th century, known as the “Masseria di Rauccio,” named after the forest of the same name. Castello Ducale di Corigliano-Calabro


The Ducal Castle in Corigliano Calabro was built in 1073 as a military fortress. Since 2002, it has been open to the public as the Ducal Castle Museum. Inside, visitors can see the monks’ prison, 19th-century kitchens, the Chapel of Sant’Agostino, the Hall of Mirrors, the dining hall, the keep, and the moat.
Just look at the 18th-century frescoes, the elegance of the halls and the viewing terrace, the gilded stucco of the private chapel, and the magnificent beauty of the Hall of Mirrors, all of which testify to the refined life of the court.
Salone degli Specchi

In the Hall of Mirrors, large mirrors, set in gilded stucco frames and draped in rich, gilded brocades, hang on the walls. They extend above elegant, upholstered, satin-covered sofas, which, along with Bohemian crystal chandeliers, adorn the walls.
The ceiling, frescoed with a trompe-l’oeil effect—an open perspective on the starry sky—dominates the Scene of Life, which depicts a group of women and men facing the balustrade, joyfully waving garlands and bouquets of flowers.
