Why choose Sunny Beach?
Sunny Beach is the most popular choice for holidays in Bulgaria. It gained popularity thanks to its holiday atmosphere, miles of sandy beaches and a variety of hotels. Holidays in Sunny Beach are for everyone, for young and old people, and certainly for families with children.
When to go on holiday to Bulgaria?
The tourist season in Sunny Beach and other towns in the region begins in spring and lasts until autumn. It is best to plan your vacation during the summer season – from June to early September.
The peak of the season falls on the warmest summer months, i.e. July and August. The average temperature is then approximately 27°C and the water temperature is over 20°C. If the summer temperature is too high for you, I recommend going on holiday to Sunny Beach at the beginning or end of the season – until mid-June or September.

What Bulgarian dishes are worth trying?
A local attraction on Sunny Beach may be the Bulgarian evening. This is an opportunity to learn about Bulgarian folklore and try the best local delicacies and drinks. Popular Bulgarian dishes include: banica (flour pancakes with white cheese baked in the oven), Shopska salad (made of cucumbers, paprika, onion, tomatoes and sheep’s cheese), kebabche (long cutlets of beef or pork), tarator (Bulgarian version of cold soup), lutenica (paste with baked vegetables), sacz (grilled meat with vegetables), gyuzleme (yeast dough with filling, e.g. cheese), seafood or kawarma (a type of meat and vegetable stew baked with cheese).
There are many more dishes, I recommend discovering new ones. You will match your favorite dishes. The recommended drinks include rose water and boza (a drink made from fermented millet with a minimum alcohol content), and among alcoholic beverages, rakija and local wines.
