Stara Zagora is a city in central Bulgaria, and at the southeastern foot of Sredna Gora.It is one of the oldest cities in Bulgaria.
Its uniqueness lies in the fact that there are no corners in the city.
Climate
Climate Summers here are warm and almost cloudless, while winters are very cold, snowy and partly cloudy. Throughout the year, the temperature ranges from -3°C to 30°C and rarely drops below -10°C or exceeds 35°C. Assessment of conditions for sunbathing/swimming in the pool indicates that to take advantage of the hot weather, it is best to visit Stara Zagora in the period from early July to late August.
Nature
The area is home to exotic magnolia trees, cedars, figs, laurels, pomegranates, almonds and paradise apples, which are rare in Bulgaria. There are even mineral waters, thanks to which the resort is also a sanatorium. You will definitely encounter linden trees in the park, because there are a lot of them in Stara Zagora.

Stara Zagora – A city of numerous entertainment
Modernity is also attractive in Stara Zagora. Walking along the alleys of Ajazmoto Park, we will reach the zoo and the Roma village, characterized by houses with red roofs. In June, a huge beer festival takes place there, because the city has its own brand of golden drink called Zagorka. Stara Zagora offers numerous entertainment for tourists. In the city center there are numerous cafes, restaurants, hotels, bars, nightclubs and discos.
