Osijek is the largest city in Slavonia and the fourth largest in Croatia. The city is located in the eastern part of the country and has two old towns. One is located in the center with the cathedral, the Capuchin monastery complex and a large number of old houses. The second one is located within the massive defensive walls of the Tvrđa Fortress.

Church of St. Michael the Archangel is a Roman Catholic temple located in the Croatian city of Osijek, in the Tvrđa district. The city’s second largest church (after the co-cathedral). The baroque building has a two-tower facade, the towers are 47 meters high. The church bells are rung every Friday at 11:00 to commemorate the liberation of the city from Turkish rule on September 29, 1687. The interior of the church is decorated with 7 altars.

The co-cathedral has a characteristic red brick color, neo-Gothic style with a richly painted interior. Interestingly, this structure is the third largest and second highest church in Croatia after the cathedrals in Zagreb and Dakov, with a total capacity of over 3,000 people. You can attend services every day at 07:00 and 18:30 and on Sundays at 06:30 and 07:30, 08:30, 10:00, 11:30 and 18:30.
- Archaeological Museum in Osijek

In 2012, by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Osijek Archaeological Museum was annexed to the Museum of Slavonia.The museum has 980 m² of exhibition space. The Main Guard building serves as a showroom for visitors, while the Brožan House serves as museum offices and workshops. The museum has two halls that are suitable for different cultural events such as promotions, concerts, temporary exhibitions, lectures, conferences, screenings, theater performances, presentations and similar events. Multipurpose atrium covered with a 222.2 m² glass dome with 150 seating areas and a 58.7 m² multimedia conference room with 50 seating areas, with additional room suitable for receptions.

Statue Red Fico

The monument is a tribute to the Croatian resistance, symbolized by the Fićo, which ultimately defeated the Serbs. Red Fico is a unique monument and war memorial in Osijek. It is a tribute to a world famous act of defiance in the early stages of the Croatian War of Independence. Basically, a resident was protesting the incoming forces by putting a red fico in the way of oncoming T55 tanks.
Zoo and Aquarium in Osijek

It is the largest zoo in Croatia. Located along the coastal area of the Drava River, it is a place where natural habitats have been recreated allowing rare exotic species to live in a familiar and welcoming world. Zoo spreads over 11 hectares with 80 animal species and a reptile-filled aquarium.
