Supetar is a city in Croatia, in Split-Dalmatia County, seat of the city of Supetar. It is situated on the northern coast of the Dalmatian island of Brač. The ferry line connects Supetar with Split. It is situated in the bay of St. Peter, hence its name. Today, Supetar is one of the main Croatian tourist centers. The city center is the market and square around the ferry port and the seaside promenade (Porat) with cafes and regional restaurants. The sculptor Ivan Rendić has been associated with the city since 1921.

- The mausoleum was built between 1924 and 1927 in honour of the wealthy Petrinović family. The entire mausoleum is made of white stone quarried on the island. The interior and beautiful bronze doors were created by sculptor Tom Rosandić, who created it under the watchful eye of Ivan Rendić. The Petrinović family mausoleum is built in the shape of a cross with five domes, where the largest one is the central part of the building. A sculpture of a crouching angel is placed on the top of the main dome, while on the other, outer domes, you can see numerous stone decorations.

- Ivan Rendić. A well-known and respected Croatian sculptor who lived from 1849 to 1932. He was born in Imotski, but was raised on the island of Brač from childhood. From an early age, he was influenced by the stonemasonry tradition prevalent in the area. In 1871, Ivan Rendić graduated from an art school in Venice, then studied in Florence. He was the first educated and well-known Croatian sculptor. He created about 210 sculptures, which can be found not only in Croatia, but also in 51 larger European cities. His works were created primarily in the spirit of realism and naturalism. In 1921, Ivan Randić settled permanently in Supetar, where he tried to establish a school and an art colony. - Vlacica Beach is located in the very center of Supetar, right next to a small marina. This beach is just a few minutes walk from the city center and is the most popular among locals.

On Brač, you can also see the Blaca Desert, Vidova Mountain, Zlatni Rat, the Brač Island Museum in Skrip, the Stonemasonry School in Pucisca and many other historical monuments. Sports and active recreation enthusiasts can enjoy almost all water sports, such as diving, swimming, paragliding, water skiing, as well as cycling, hiking, playing tennis, football, basketball, beach volleyball and many other exciting things.
