Vodice – a city and port in Croatia, in Šibenik-Knin County, seat of the city of Vodice. They are located northwest of Šibenik, on the Adriatic Sea. In 2011, they had 6,755 inhabitants. The city is the main holiday resort for residents of nearby Šibenik.With its picturesque coastline and crystal clear waters, Vodice is an ideal place for water sports enthusiasts and sailors. You can rent a boat and explore the nearby islands or indulge in exciting activities such as windsurfing and parasailing.

This area was declared a national park in 1980, for its geomorphological characteristics, diversity of marine life and other natural wonders. We drive through several channels and pass many lifts until we reach the salt lake Telašćica on one of the islands. 45 minutes before reaching the silver lake, lunch on the boat. - Strikoman’s Bistro, Vodice . We still can’t believe that we had one of the best dinners ever in Vodice, not once, but twice. Strikoman’s Bistro is a frequently recommended place in this city and we were not disappointed either. What’s more, we ate the best truffle paste of our lives here (and I love truffles and eat them quite often). In addition, a tray of excellent seafood was brought to the table. The marinated shrimp was a complete revelation for us, delicious. Marcin left delighted with the perfectly prepared steak, and at the end we treated ourselves to desserts that looked like small works of art. The dinner was excellent, although not the cheapest.
- Tri Piruna, Vodice This is traditional Croatian cuisine, fish and seafood – in a modern version. I had tears in my eyes during this dinner. It doesn’t happen often, but this place completely disarmed us. We didn’t expect that in Vodice, which we don’t like, we would discover such a gem. Tri Piruna is quite elegant, although we were dressed for the holidays – and it was also fine. After all, most of the guests are tourists in summer clothes. It’s worth thinking about making a reservation! The service in the place is at a very high level, and with each dish they explained to us what was served on the plates.
For those of you who wish to visit the surrounding attractions, we recommend interesting day trips to the Krka and Kornati National Parks, the falconry centre, Vransko Jezero Nature Park, Skradin, Šibenik, Tribunj, the island of Prvić and numerous archaeological sites.
