LEGO World – LEGOLAND Billund in Denmark

Legoland Denmark is the oldest park among all Legolands. It attracts approximately 2 million visitors annually and is therefore Denmark’s largest tourist attraction. Denmark is famous for Leo blocks, so everyone wants to visit this wonderful place full of attractions for kids and adult fanatics.

What can you see here ?

Legoland Billund is an amusement park opened on June 7, 1968 in Billund, Denmark. A characteristic feature are stylized buildings, thanks to which the park resembles a town made of Lego blocks.

Attractions

The park is divided into 10 thematic lands:

  • DUPLO® Land

  • Imagination Zone

  • LEGOREDO® Town

  • NINJAGO® World

  • Adventure Land

  • Miniland

  • Pirate Land

  • Polar Land

  • Knights’ Kingdom

  • LEGO® MOVIE™ World

The park includes the LEGOLAND Hotel and the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, as well as the LEGOLAND Holiday Village holiday cottage complex. During your stay at the hotel, you can purchase a Resort Pass, which gives you unlimited access to Legoland Billund Resort, i.e. to: Legoland, Lalandia Aquadome and Monkey Tonkey Land. Billund’s newest attraction, LEGO® House, is also worth a visit.

Food and beverage

Restaurants in Legoland:

Quick service – these are places where we can eat burgers and fries.

Casual dining – here we will be served by waiters, with a variety of lunch menus to choose from.

Buffet – the all-you-can-eat principle applies here, i.e. you pay once and have unlimited use of the buffet.

Snacks – you will get light meals, coffee, ice cream, etc

Good to know:

Season-Pass is a ticket in the form of a plastic card, entitling you to enter the Legoland park for the entire season. With a Season-Pass card, we receive discounts in Legoland, free meals for children in restaurants in the park and attractive promotions in the facilities of Billund Resort, e.g. 50% discount on tickets to Givskud ZOO and free entries for children to the Lalandia water park.

Shopping

The best souvenir from Legoland is, of course, LEGO® blocks. In the park you will find plenty of shops where you can buy blocks and many other gadgets. Every fan of LEGO® bricks should visit LEGO@ Shop – the largest store with LEGO® blocks.
