One of the two border crossings is the Provanilla cooperative in Bras-Panon. For just over an hour, your guide will explain and show all the steps of vanilla processing. Harvesting, brewing, sorting… all these phases that make the flower later become a vanilla bean.

Hell Bourg – It is considered the most beautiful village on the island. There are several routes to reach Piton des Neiges (3070 meters above sea level).
The entrance to Cap Anglais offers stunning views of the Cirque de Salazie. Once you reach the top, you can continue the hike to Cilaos or return to Hell-Bourg. The unique panoramic views of the Piton de la Fournaise region are the main goal of the trip.
Circus Mafate
Cirque de Mafate – Reunion Island
Circus Mafate is one of three circuses in Reunion, the others are Cilaos and Salazie.
A cirque is a post-glacial or post-volcanic mountain form where the walls of, for example, a volcano collapse and a depression with steep slopes is created. If Salazie is known for its lush greenery and countless waterfalls, and Cilaos for its winding roads, Mafate is known for having no roads and therefore no cars. To get to this place you have to go through the mountains or use a helicopter.
