Reunion is one of the largest islands in the Indian Ocean. Here you can see beautiful mountain landscapes and meet cheerful and friendly inhabitants.

 La Réunion

Reunion – an overseas department of France, is an island in the Indian Ocean, located approximately 700 km east of Madagascar and 200 km southwest of Mauritius.

Picturesque City of Cilaos.

City of Cilaos, Reunion

It is worth visiting the picturesque city of Cilaos, overlooked by the highest peak of the island – Piton des Neiges – it is very dry and sunny, and its deep canyons and gorges as well as soaring peaks create an extraordinary landscape.

There are four hundred bends leading to the mountain Creole village, famous for its excellent local cuisine, art, handicrafts and thermal springs.

Green Heart of Saint-Denis.

Jardin de l’État – Botanical Garden, Saint Denis, Reunion

Jardin de l’État – Botanical Garden: Located in the heart of Saint-Denis, at the end of the famous Rue de Paris, you can discover very rare plant species from all over the world.

The garden also offers access to various thematic playgrounds for children. Inside the Garden there is a Natural History Museum that allows you to discover fauna and flora.

Cultural and taste discovery!

Head to Bras-Panon for a day full of visits and meals around vanilla. It’s time to discover the famous Bourbon vanilla from La Réunion (one of the best in the world!)

One of the two border crossings is the Provanilla cooperative in Bras-Panon. For just over an hour, your guide will explain and show all the steps of vanilla processing. Harvesting, brewing, sorting… all these phases that make the flower later become a vanilla bean.

The local shops are rich in vanilla in various forms. You can buy truly unique and, above all, top quality products.

The Beauty Of The Mountains.

La Réunion- Hell-Bourg, View of Piton des Neiges

Hell Bourg – It is considered the most beautiful village on the island. There are several routes to reach Piton des Neiges (3070 meters above sea level).

The entrance to Cap Anglais offers stunning views of the Cirque de Salazie. Once you reach the top, you can continue the hike to Cilaos or return to Hell-Bourg. The unique panoramic views of the Piton de la Fournaise region are the main goal of the trip.

Circus Mafate

Cirque de Mafate – Reunion Island

Circus Mafate is one of three circuses in Reunion, the others are Cilaos and Salazie.

A cirque is a post-glacial or post-volcanic mountain form where the walls of, for example, a volcano collapse and a depression with steep slopes is created. If Salazie is known for its lush greenery and countless waterfalls, and Cilaos for its winding roads, Mafate is known for having no roads and therefore no cars. To get to this place you have to go through the mountains or use a helicopter.

Beaches

The calm sea with the cleanest water and wonderful sandy beaches of Reunion attracts more and more tourists every year. The crystal turquoise color of the sea water sets the level of your vacation somewhere between stunning and perfect. So if you are looking for the perfect sea, this is your place!

The most frequently chosen beaches by tourists: Plage De L’Hermitage, Boucan Canot Beach, Black Rocks Beach and Saint-Pierre Beach. All these beaches are sandy, easily accessible and with equipped beaches.
