Le Havre Beach

Le Havre is the most populous city in Normandy and is also the largest French port, located on the Seine Delta.

It is worth seeing the extraordinary botanical garden in the form of hanging gardens. Currently, there are approximately 3,700 species of plants growing there, divided into groups according to their place of origin. Here you can see, among others: gardens dedicated to plants from North America, Asia and Australia.

Jardin de Saint Roch
Another natural point is the Jardin de Saint Roch: The park in the city center is full of greenery and paths where you can walk. Sculptures were placed along them. There are 30 species of trees and 18 species of roses here.

Haropa Port
The port of Le Havre is the second largest port in France, after the port of Marseille. One of the largest French refineries is located here, so the port is often used to transport oil.

Musée de l’Armateur
Another interesting place is an 18th-century house that formerly belonged to a local shipowner and has been transformed into a museum. It has five floors, with the ground floor being a warehouse and stables. On the floors you can see typical period decoration. There is a large living room, a music room, dining rooms, a library, and a cabinet of curiosities.
