Peacock Island like in a fairy tale
Peacock Island is a magical place in Germany that simply enchanted me. When I first got there, I immediately knew why it was a UNESCO site. It all started with these charming peacock feathers that float in the wind. It was something amazing – these beautiful birds walking freely around the island made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.
While walking around the island, I came across an old palace that seemed to have stopped in time. Historic walls, old windows, everything exuded history. I couldn’t get over how romantic and full of secrets this place is.

As I followed the park’s paths, I discovered more and more. It wasn’t an ordinary island, it was like a different world. Couples in love walking along the green paths, the gentle sound of the river – all this made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.
However, what I remember most are the peacocks. It was amazing to see them in their natural habitat. Walking next to them, I felt that I was part of this magical place.
For me, Pawia Island is not only about monuments and nature, it is also about peace. It is a place where you can break away from the everyday hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding nature. The impressions from this visit will always be with me, because it was something special, something that is difficult to describe in words. This is a place that left me with unforgettable memories.
The beach and the lake Großer Wannsee
After this extraordinary journey through history and nature, I decided to go on another adventure, this time heading towards the beach and Lake Großer Wannsee. It was a real contrast – leaving the island full of monuments, I found myself on a sandy beach, surrounded by the peace of the lake.

Immersing yourself in the warm waters of the lake was like balm for the soul. A moment earlier I had been impressed by the charming peacock walks, and now I was swimming in the calm waves of Großer Wannsee. This place exuded peace and was full of life at the same time – the sight of sailboats and boats added energy.
In the evening, when the sun started to go down and the sky was shimmering with warm colors, I sat on the beach with a blanket and just enjoyed the moment. From Peacock Island to Großer Wannsee, I moved from the magical world of the past to a modern oasis of peace.
Both of these locations, despite their differences, were special to me, each in its own unique style. It was this diversity that made me delighted with the peace and charm of beautiful nature.
