Glyfada, a picturesque sandy beach, is famous for its prime location, just 16 km from the vibrant heart of Greek culture, Athens. The center is located among a charming pine grove and invites guests for a walk along the extensive pier. Sea Turtle Rescue Centre

The center was established in 1999 by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, the agency responsible for wildlife conservation in Israel, to rehabilitate injured sea turtles and return them to the wild after recovery. Since its establishment, the center has cared for over 700 individuals, mainly loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, softshell turtles, West Caspian turtles, and even five dolphins. About 70% were released into the open sea.
Saints Constantine & Helen Orthodox Cathedral of Glyfada

The Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helen was found in 1932 and was build in 1934 on land bought for that purpose from Alkiviadis and Euagelia Tataki. Six years ago the temple was renovate by the family of Thanassis Martinos. Reinforced with carbon fiber and the paintings were replaced with mosaics from Vlasis Tsotsonis while the study of the static from the church has been donated, by the professor of the Technical University of Athens Constantinos Spyrakos.
Today the church, completely renovated, is one of the most beautiful and majestic in the country, with Sunday school, hagiography school, piano lessons, choir, theater group and other activities. Every year, on the 21 of May, residents of Glyfada celebrate with dignity and respect their Saints.
