Lenck-villa
The richly designed villa at the intersection of Deák tér and Csatkai Endre utca was built by Lenck Emil, a wholesaler from Sopron. The building, which was originally intended as a summer residence, was occupied by the family for a short time, and later it was rented and used by the Danish heir to the throne – Prince Frederick of Schaumburg-Lippe, who was serving in the military in Sopron. At the beginning of the 1900s, the Lenck family went bankrupt, so the villa was forced to be sold.
