„Grotte di Ripalta”

The “Grotte di Ripalta” beach in Bisceglie where you can admire various natural caves, some accessible only from the sea. In this area we witness the natural phenomenon of the formation of the beautiful pebble beaches, typical of the Bisceglie coast: the event takes advantage of the erosive force of the sea which digs small cavities at the foot of the rock. When the cavity becomes a cave it can collapse and the structure collapses: the boulders produced by the collapse will be slowly “worked” by the waves, reducing themselves to pebbles.
