The “Pier Alessandro Guglielmi Municipal Theater of Massa Carrara”, named after the famous composer of the Tuscan town, opened its doors in 1886. Rifugio Nello Conti – Club Alpino Italiano
The Nello Conti Refuge, or simply the Conti Refuge, is a shelter located in the commune of Massa in the Ai Campaniletti area, in the Apuan Alps, at an altitude of 1,442 m above sea level. The building is located in an optimal place to cross Via Vandelli and conquer the numerous peaks of the Apuan Alps and is one of the stages of Sentiero Italia in the variant crossing the Apuan Alps. The shelter is open every day until September 15. Dinner and overnight reservations are required.
