As an avid traveller, I recently embarked on a journey to the Silesian Beskid in Poland. Set amidst rolling hills and lush forests, this enchanting region captivated my senses and left me impressed by its natural beauty.

The Silesian Beskid boasts a stunning array of scenic peaks and meandering trails, perfect for adventurers of all levels. Whether you’re hiking to the top of Babia Gora, the highest peak in the area, or trekking through peaceful valleys, every step reveals breathtaking views and moments of tranquillity.
Hidden treasures and cultural heritage
Exploring the Silesian Beskid is a journey through time and tradition. Along the way, I discovered charming villages dotted with wooden cottages, where the warmth of hospitality greeted me at every turn. Castles and ruins whisper tales of bygone eras, inviting me to delve into the region’s rich history and folklore.Among the peaks in the Beskid Mountains you can find many places worth visiting.
- Skrzyczne is the highest peak in the Silesian Beskid Mountains, rising some 1257 metres above sea level. Its summit offers a beautiful panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a favourite destination for tourists and mountain view lovers.
- Barania Góra:
Another popular peak in the Silesian Beskid is Barania Gora, which rises some 1,220 metres above sea level. Its characteristic dome and unique views attract many tourists and nature lovers.

- Małe Skrzyczne:
Małe Skrzyczne is another charming peak in the Silesian Beskid that offers great views of the surrounding area. It is a great place for hiking and watching sunsets over the mountain horizon.

Klimczok:
- Klimczok Peak is one of the most distinctive landmarks in the Silesian Beskid. Its steep slopes and mountain scenery provide the perfect backdrop for hiking and landscape photography.

Równica:
- Równica is another impressive peak in the Silesian Beskid that impresses with its majestic silhouette and panoramic views. From its summit, you can admire the beauty of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a favourite destination for mountain hikers.

One of the highlights of my adventure was discovering the crystal-clear lakes and roaring streams hidden in the Silesian Beskid. From the tranquil shores of Lake Zywiec to the cascading waters of the Vistula, each body of water offered a refreshing oasis amidst the green landscape.
