Veľké Hincovo pleso – Great Hiconovo Pond

It lies in the Mengusovská valley, at an altitude of 1944.8 m. n. m. You can reach Hincov pleso by following the blue sign from Popradské pleso in 1 hour. 35 minutes.

The structure is 53 m high and very unusual. From below, it looks as if it were about to fall because it is curved and its inclination is 15°.

Hrebienok


Hrebienok is a peak in the Slovak Tatras, measuring 1,285 m above sea level. and a popular mountain hiking destination. There are trails leading to the mountain from Starý Smokovec, but you can also get there by cable car. There is a restaurant, the Bilikova Chata shelter, and nearby the Cold Water Waterfalls and the former Rainerowa Chata shelter. Hrebieniok is also known for its popular toboggan run, which starts in Hrebieniok and continues to Smokovec. The track has been electric lit since 1959.

Tatra Ice Dome, Hrebienok

Ždiar


Ždiar is a small ski resort located in the valley between the Belianske Tatras and Spišská Magura, 9 km from the border crossing at Lysá Polana – Ždiar is an ideal place for a family trip to the mountains. The town of Ždiar is located at an altitude of 970 – 830 m above sea level. located 18 km from Tatranska Łomnica and 40 km from Zakopane. There are three ski resorts nearby: Strednica, Bachledova dolina and Monkova dolina. It is a picturesque highland village with outstanding summer and skiing values. It has approximately 1,300 inhabitants. The village was founded in the early 17th century as a place of seasonal shepherds’ settlements. Folklore similar to the Podhale region, the village is a reserve of folk architecture.
Very good skiing conditions, large concentration of ski lifts (a system of 9 drag lifts in the Strednica Valley with a capacity of 6,100 people per hour, with artificial snow and a chairlift in Bachledova Dolina /1200 m above sea level/ along with accompanying drag lifts) allow for skiing both beginners and advanced skiers. Very good skiing conditions from November to the end of March.
