A Coruña, a city in northwestern Spain, in the autonomous region of Galicia, on the Atlantic Ocean, is the administrative center of the province of A Coruña.

Torre de Hércules
The symbol of the city is the lighthouse – Torre de Hércules (Tower of Hercules), inscribed on the UNESCO list. It is the oldest building of this type in the world and still serves its function today. At 57 m high, it is the third tallest lighthouse in Spain. From its top admire a wonderful panorama of the city and the coast. The photos from this place will be amazing.

Castillo de San Antón
At the entrance to the port there is the Castillo de San Antón from the end of the 16th century, today it is an archaeological and historical museum. A very long sea promenade, 13 km long, begins at the castle. We will see the best views when we take the glass ball-shaped elevator to the top of the Monte de San Pedro hill.

María Pita Square
Maria Pita Square is the central square of the city of A Coruña and is dedicated to the heroine Maria Pita. It was designed in the mid-19th century and is the seat of the town hall. Plaza de María Pita forms a large rectangle with an area of over 10,000 square meters. On one side there is the town hall, and on the other three sides there are arcade buildings with various cafes and restaurants under the arches.


Museo Mega Estrella Galicia
There will also be attractions for beer lovers. MEGA Mundo Estrella Galicia is the first and unique Beer Museum in Spain and one of the few in the world that is located in a working brewery. Division into 8 sectors, from the beginnings of beer, raw materials and the brewing process, packaging and bottling process (from the point of view of an operating brewery), distribution and advertising and sponsoring. Of course, it is possible to taste Estrella Galicia beers.

Casa das Ciencias is located in a mansion in Santa Margarita Park. The octagonal building houses interactive exhibition rooms, and the dome houses a planetarium. Learning takes place here through modules that respond to visitors’ actions with behaviors that arouse curiosity and encourage discovery and answering questions.

Playa de San Amaro
San Amaro Beach it’s a wonderful beach, perfect for a holiday break. A short walk will take you to the Tower of Hercules. The beach is famous for its clear waters and stunning views, and the beautiful sky at sunset is a must-see. There are bus stops nearby, so we don’t have to worry about getting there.

Playa de Las Lapas
More hidden, quiet and sheltered, at the foot of the Tower of Hercules, while strolling along the seaside promenade, is As Lapas Beach (70 meters), from which you can gaze upon the magnificent monument.
