
Fuerteventura is a paradise Spanish island. Probably the oldest in the Canary Islands. Fuerteventura is an island in the Atlantic Ocean, part of the Canary Islands archipelago. Climate
The island has a dry climate which guarantees a year-round temperature above 19 degrees Celsius. The warmest months are May, June, July and August, when thermometers show around 30 degrees. The winds mean that the weather is not oppressive and the conditions for water sports are ideal. April and May are the perfect time for hiking and cycling. June and July are the months with the strongest winds, which attracts athletes.

The best beaches of El Cotillo:
– La Concha Beach is famous for its white sand and turquoise water. This beach offers a gentle entrance to the water, making it ideal for families with children.
– Los Lagos Beach consists of several smaller beaches separated by rocks. Watching experienced surfers is a real spectacle.
– Piedra Playa Beach is a beach that offers beautiful views of the cliffs and turquoise waters. This beach is perfect for those looking for peace and relaxation as it is less crowded than other beaches in El Cotillo.

- La Oliva, located on the island of Fuerteventura, is a town with rich traditions dating back several centuries. The town is located in the north of the island, characterized by white houses and windmills. In the commune in which the town is located, there are two national parks, Corralejo and Islote de Lobos. The town also offers many interesting attractions and traditional food. In Oliva, it is also worth visiting the Museo de las Tradiciones and the Museo del Grano “La Cilla”. In the town you can see life-size sculptures and relax in their shade.Moreover, Oliva is famous for its cultural centers presenting the art of Canarian artists. There are also numerous fairs and festivals held there throughout the year, as well as traditional fiestas, such as the most important event on the island – Fiesta de la Candelaria.

Betancuria is one of the most important colonial monuments in the history of the Canary Islands! The most popular monuments include the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Casa Museo de Betancuria, offering exhibits related to the history and culture of the island, including art, crafts and archaeological artifacts. The city is pleasantly surrounded by green valleys and mountains, which makes it different from the rest of the island, which has a mainly desert landscape.
