Fethiye is a quiet seaside town with a beautiful bay, which is visited by many sun-seeking tourists every year. It is known for its wonderful beaches, Lycian rock tombs and beautiful urban gardens full of subtropical plants. Fethiye suffered serious damage during the 1958 earthquake. yet it has retained the charm of a typical old Turkish town. Fethiye is a great base from which to explore the many tourist attractions along the beautiful turquoise coast.

Fethiye is a city located in the southern part of Turkey, in Muğla Province. Fethiye is located near the Taurus Mountains, on the Mediterranean Sea. It is located 12 kilometers from Ölüdeniz. The city was built on the site of Telmessos, the former Anastopolis and Makri/Macre.

• Tomb of Amyntas dates back to the 4th century B.C. It is a Lycian tomb carved in the rocks with a characteristic façade in the Ionic style

• Çalış Beach – Çalış is a small Mediterranean beach town located along the Turquoise Coast of Turkey. Unlike some of the larger, more commercialized resorts in the area.
