Göbekli Tepe

The ruins of Göbekli Tepe located in Turkey are the oldest known archeological center built by prehistoric cultures and at the same time one of the most mysterious places on the historical map of the world. A huge complex dating back 13,000 years. years, only a few percent of it has been excavated.

Balıklıgöl


Balıklıgöl is a pool in the southwest of the city center of Şanlıurfa, known in Jewish and Islamic legends as the place where Nimrod threw Abraham into a fire. Balıklıgöl and neighbouring Aynzeliha pools are among the most visited places in city.
Urfa Castle

Urfa Castle, also known as Şanlıurfa Castle or Urfa Kalesi, is a historical fortress located in Şanlıurfa. This fort is one of the oldest and most important monuments in the region, rich in history, architectural values and associated with several legends and myths. The exact time of its creation is unknown, but it is believed to date back to the 2nd century BC. The fort was expanded and renovated over the years under various rulers, including the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods.

Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum

The Şanlıurfa museum complex is Türkiye’s largest museum complex. It contains the Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum, Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum, Archeopark, Roman Bath and Sakıp’s Mansion. As a result of intensive recovery excavations conducted in the region since the 1960s due to the dams built upon Euphrates River, the Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum is one of the richest museums of Türkiye in terms of artifacts and it is hosting the world’s biggest Neolithic collection.
