Malmö is a mixture of history and modernity. Turning Torso


One of the most characteristic buildings in Malmö and a symbol of the city’s modern architecture – Turning Torso has 54 floors and is 190 meters high. The building is composed of nine-sided modules twisted upwards. The characteristic silhouette of the skyscraper not only impresses with its appearance, but also makes it resistant to wind.

Ribersborgs open-air bath


Ribersborg open-air bathhouse (Ribersborgs kallbadhus) is an open-air public bath on the Ribersborg beach in Malmö, approximately one kilometre southwest of Turning Torso. The bathhouse is open for a skinny dip year round and has separate areas for men and women. Each area is equipped with two saunas and a warm water tub. There is also one mixed sauna between the ladies and gentlemen’s area. It also contains a café and a restaurant.
Malmöhus Castle


Malmö Castle was built in 1434 (Malmöhus) was once an important strategic stronghold of Denmark. Rebuilt in the 16th century, Malmöhus is the oldest surviving Renaissance castle in Scandinavia and now houses the Malmö Museum, a complex dedicated to the natural history of Sweden. Castle and the rest of the Malmö Museum complex, is open every day from 10am to 5pm.
Ribersborg Beach


The swimming pool in Malmö is named after the Ribersborg district and is located 3 km from the city center. This sandy beach and adjacent green areas were designed in the 1920s. For Malmö residents and tourists, Ribersborgsstranden is a popular recreational area. Especially on hot summer days, the beach attracts with the refreshing pleasure of swimming. However, the golf course, sauna and other recreational facilities make the area suitable for year-round use. Hiking trails and bicycle paths are ideal for tourists who like to move.
Moderna Museum Malmö


Moderna Museet Malmö is a branch of the famous Swedish Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm. It is located not far from the center of the old town of Malmö. The facility is located in an old power plant. The museum presents us with Scandinavian and international art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Exhibitions that change throughout the year attract tourists from all over the world. The former turbine hall was adapted into an exhibition hall and covers an area of over 800 square meters. In addition, the museum also has an educational workshop with an area of approximately 100 square meters.
Hyllie Water Tower


Hyllie Water Tower – Located in the southern part of the city, the tower is not only a practical piece of municipal infrastructure but also an interesting example of architecture. Erected to ensure proper water pressure for the developing districts of Malmö, the tower has been fulfilling its function since it was put into use. Its unique design makes it one of the easily recognizable elements of the city’s skyline.
Church of St. Peter Malmö
