Cathedral of St. Jana Chrzciciela w Mariborze

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is a magnificent architectural monument whose origins date back to the 13th century. The current appearance of the building is mainly the result of reconstruction and modernization works carried out in the Baroque and Renaissance periods.
One of the most characteristic elements of the cathedral is its impressive tower, which dominates the city panorama. The interior of the building delights with the richness of sacral art, with paintings, sculptures and stained glass windows that show the history and Christian tradition.
Pyramid

The Pyramid is a hill with elevation 386m from where you get the perfect view of the city Maribor. A chapel on the Pyramid sits at the top of the burial ground and is a classicist chapel from 1821. It houses a stone statue of Mary. The hill top is accessible through the vineyard. It takes up to 30 minutes to reach the top.
