The River Tay Way is a new long-distance walking and cycling route being developed in Scotland, connecting Perth to Kenmore. Trail along Scotland’s longest river! The route passes through scenic areas, the 50-mile route links Kenmore at the west end of Loch Tay with Perth, passing through Aberfeldy, Dunkeld and Birnam, Murthly, Stanley and Luncarty.

The River Tay Public Art Trail is a two and a half mile long trail beginning and ending in Perth City Centre. It is a trail that features art sculptures dotted along the river while taking you into beautiful parks and the High Street.

Perth Museum and Art Gallery is the main museum and exhibition space in the city of Perth. This gallery offers family activities, unique modern collections, and events from prestigious local artists. The Perth Museum and Art Gallery is primarily a modern art museum showcasing artists from the 20th and 21st centuries.
It was made a category B listed building in May 1965. The museum collection includes the South Corston fragment of the Strathmore meteorite and the mummy of a woman named Ta-kr-hb.
The Black Watch Castle & Museum


The Black Watch Castle & Museum, housed in the historic Balhousie Castle in Perth, is dedicated to the history of The Black Watch, Scotland’s oldest Highland regiment. The museum displays the history of the regiment from 1739 to the present. It has a collection of uniforms, medals, and military artifacts spanning over three centuries.
Huntingtower Castle

Huntingtower Castle also known as The House of Ruthven, consists of two well-preserved residential towers dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. The history of Huntingtower Castle is inextricably linked to that of the Ruthven family but is ultimately linked to two noble families.
Castle is located near the village of Huntingtower and west of Perth. Today, the castle is owned by Historic Environment Scotland and is open to visitors for an admission fee. The castle is also available for wedding ceremonies and photography sessions.
Scone Palace


Scone Palace is one of the earliest of the asymmetrically planned Georgian houses in Scotland. The house, interiors and gardens are all of one period and represent the early 19th century. The building is the seat of the Earl of Mansfield but is open to the public on a regular basis. The family collections include rare porcelain, needlework, furniture, clocks, ivories, six generations of family photographs and the Vernis Martin collection. There is also a collection of veteran agricultural machinery to the east of the castle.
