Foča (Cypriot: Foča) is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, and the seat of the Foča Municipality. In 2013, the town had a population of 10,831. Foča is located in Herzegovina and the Upper Podrinje region, at the confluence of the Ćehotina River with the Drina. The city is the intersection of the Sarajevo–Nikšić and Trebinje–Goražde roads. The border with Montenegro runs east of Foča. The local economy is based on the timber industry.
