Streets paved with cobblestones lead to colorful fishermen’s houses, which adorn romantic alleyways. Narrow passages are full of traditional craft shops, art galleries, and charming cafes.
1. St. Euphemia’s Church
Church in Rovinj is one of the city’s most important landmarks and at the same time one of its most characteristic features. 4.Augustus Temple
This temple is an example of classical Roman architectural style. It was also a place of worship for Emperor Augustus and other Roman gods, as well as a meeting place for ceremonies. It was built on a rectangular plan, with a portico at the front supported by Doric columns. Despite over two thousand years passing, the Augustus Temple has remained in relatively good condition.
5.Forum Romanum in Pula
When you stand on the Forum, it feels like you’re traveling back in time. Around you are old, stone pieces that were once part of great buildings and columns. You can imagine what it must have looked like when the city was full of life, and people crowded these streets. Some boards describing the place say that various events took place here, and politicians gave speeches. Interesting, right? You can learn a bit about it and feel what it was like when you walk through these streets.
