The foundation stone for the museum was laid in February 2018 by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who also inaugurated it on September 7, 2019. The three-story building of the museum, which includes exhibition areas, workshops, various event venues, a cafe, and a museum shop, spans an area of approximately 4,500 m². The museum hosts temporary exhibitions that showcase works from various disciplines of art. Historical Odunpazarı Mansions
The Odunpazar area, built on the city’s southern hill, forms the basis of Eskişehir’s urban development. This district is known as “Odunpazar”, which means “Wooden Bazaar”.
