Cannes is a city full of attractions and interesting things to see. Walking through the streets you can feel the wonderful French atmosphere.
Cannes is a French city located on the Mediterranean Sea on the Côte d’Azur, approximately 20 kilometers west of Nice.

I will start with the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, the congress center in Cannes, France. The Cannes Film Festival takes place here every year. And the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the NRJ Music Awards. These are great events, the whole world hears about them! The current building was built in 1982. Stars from all over the world appear on the red carpet here.

It is also worth seeing the picturesque port for boats and yachts, built in the center of Cannes in the 1950s. Aside from its port trade, the “Vieux-Port” hosts world-famous events on its Pantiero esplanade all year round, including the Yachting Festival and Régates Royales. The Quai Saint-Pierre wharf opened in 1838 and stands at the foot of Le Suquet, Cannes old town.

One of the frequently visited places is the 15th-century stone church located at the top of the old town of Le Suquet. A 15th century church located at the top of the old town of Le Suquet.
Eglise Notre-Dame de l’Esperance built in the late Gothic style, it is distinguished by a Renaissance veranda and a square Romanesque bell tower separated by an arch. The adjacent square offers a unique view of the entire city. Since July 1937, it has been recognized as a historical monument.

Near Cannes there is a magical castle (Château de la Napoule), almost like something out of a fairy tale. American artists had ambitious imaginations when designing the building. Extraordinary works of art are incorporated into almost every part of this beach castle in Mandelieu-la-Napoule. The castle is a must see!

The Castre Museum is located on the Suquet hill, dominating the city of Cannes. From the top of the medieval tower the views across the bay and the Lerins islands are fantastic and not to be missed.
Inside the castle and the nearby chapel is a brilliant collection of paintings, art and archaeological artefacts. The Castre Museum is home to a wide collection of antiquities, particularly from the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Paintings showing the French Riviera from the 19th century, musical instruments and ethnographic exhibits in a medieval tower.

Palm Beach is a calm and quiet beach, perfect for those looking for a tranquil environment. The beach is ideal for families with children, especially because there is easy access to the sea from the west. There are lifeguards on the beach to ensure safety. It is worth taking advantage of the local restaurants and beach bars.

The Forville Provençal market, completely covered, is open every morning. We will find it here local vegetables, fruits and flowers, you can also buy seafood and cheese.
It is not without reason that the city attracts the biggest stars and tourists from all over the world. The magic of this city is extraordinary.
