Let’s not forget about the buildings where you can enjoy art. Vasarely Foundation – is a contemporary art gallery and at the same time an example of modern French architecture. The building consists of seven cuboids in which works of art using optical illusions and interconnecting geometric forms are presented. Vendôme Pavilion – is a historic pavilion surrounded by a French formal garden. Temporary exhibitions of works of art take place here.

At just 3km from the city center of Aix-en-Provence, The oppidum d’Entremont is an archaeological site classified as a Historic Monument of great importance.
Remains of ramparts, housing, workshops, a room displaying the heads of enemies (a Celtic custom), statues and a wide range of objects have been found here. The oppidum (Roman settlement) is in a pleasant green park with open access during the site opening days and times.
The excavated statues and objects (ceramics, tools, etc.) are displayed in the Granet Museum.

Plage du Verdon
Most beaches in Aix-en-Provence are located within the estate, which usually means they are within walking distance of the main tourist infrastructure. Many beaches offer great views, not only by the sea. If natural beauty is your priority, pay attention to the following beaches: Plage du Verdon, Plage de St Coix, Plage du Rouet.
